Ethos Institute
We are associated with the Ethos Institute (Instituto Ethos, in Portuguese) of Companies and Social Responsibility, a Civil Society Organization of Public Interest whose mission is to mobilize, raise awareness, and assist companies in managing their businesses in a socially responsible way, making them partners in building a just and sustainable society.
Clean Company
We are signatories of the Business Pact for Integrity and Against Corruption, a voluntary commitment undertaken that sets out a set of guidelines to be adopted by the signing companies and entities. An initiative of the Clean Company (Empresa Limpa, in Portuguese)aiming to work with businesses to promote a more honest and ethical market and reduce various corrupt practices. This record is widely publicized and positions itself as a benchmark for ethical behavior in the market.

Global Compact Brazil Network
The Agroindustry Collective Action is an initiative based on principles in which participating companies commit to a series of guiding values of conduct, mobilizing the sector towards consolidating an increasingly ethical, integral, and transparent business environment, and creating incentives for the prevention and fight against corruption in defense of free competition and generation of opportunities on sustainable grounds. Minerva Foods participated in the elaboration of the Agroindustry Anti-Corruption Best Practices Guide and encourages everyone to adopt the principles and rules set out in it. Learn more.
Ethics and Conduct
Minerva Foods always seeks to do more and better. For this reason, we developed the Health and Safety, Environment, Food Safety and Social Responsibility Policy in line with the best corporate governance practices. This policy guides the Company’s employees, regardless of their role or position at Minerva Foods. Compliance with this policy is fundamentally important for us to succeed in the long term so as to better serve and meet the demands of our internal and external customers and earn our stakeholders’ respect.

All the Company’s business and activities are based on the ethical principles highlighted in our Code of Ethics and Conduct, namely:
- Promoting and ensuring the health and physical integrity of our employees, service providers and visitors.

Compliance department is also responsible for managing the Company’s internal documents, essential for the standardization of processes. Among them are Policies, Procedures, Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures, that regulate the activities of all departments.

Minerva Connection
Conexão Minerva, our Internal and External Ombudsman, aims at fighting fraud and corruption and promoting effective communication and transparent relationships with the Company.
In addition to the channel being managed by a third-party company, ensuring people’s anonymity, the channel has several options for opening your report, whether by telephone, website or by letter. In addition, the person has the option of opening their report anonymously or not, thus ensuring greater security and transparency for those who use the channel.
